Very good breakfast comes out quite quick. Donuts are fantastic. Definitely recommend the steak burrito.
The falafel gyro was tasty. Vegetarian options available. We tried some of the Mexican food as well and enjoyed it.
Located in a strip center off Mexico/ Muegge roads it's definitely worth the visit. Delicious aroma greets you upon entering as does2 large cases filled with donuts , cannolis and other varieties of desserts. They have breakfast and lunch menu and offer table service in a nice clean well lit and nicely decorated dining area as well as carry out The donuts are light and so delicious and making a choice was difficult, next time I'll try a lunch choice and update on that.
Great local St Charles spot. Mario's has something on the menu for everyone. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff is friendly and courteous. Their breakfast is my favorite. You can't go wrong. I do miss them serving soups! I hope they decide to serve their chicken tortilla and other great soups soon.
I've been eating at Mario donuts off and on for about 15 years. The food has always been good. The donuts are good as well. I stopped by today and learn they have new ownership. I got to meet the owner and they were extremely friendly and the biscuits and gravy were delicious. They have new decorations. It really looks cool. Again, I can highly recommend Mario's donuts. In fact, I bumped my stars to five.
Went there at 8.15 this Saturday morning and there were a few people in line, the line moved fast though. I was in and out with my dozen assorted doughnuts in probably under 5 mins. The doughnuts are almost as good as the original Mario's doughnuts. I didn't see any custard filled ones in the counter though. That was a little depressing. Overall experience was great, clean diner with good doughnuts, can't ask for much more than that.
Diverse variety of donuts and food. Fun and relax atmosphere with plenty of seatings. There's also free wifi with usb plugs and some fun antiques/collectibles. Order at the front and food will be called out by order numbers. But if you order donuts, you get them right away! They do take out and dine in. Service is pretty fast and they have long tables - I often see big groups here. We'll be back!
Great menu selection with excellent pricing. We arrived shortly before closing on a Sunday and placed a large order to go. Understandably a bit of a wait, but well worth the time. Everything is prepared fresh and delicious. We added an assortment of donuts and baklava to our meal choices, which everyone loved. My daughter especially enjoyed the coffee flavored donut, and the Baklava...oh my goodness, incredible! Attractive decor & super clean establishment. Will definitely return.
